So by now everyone is aware of the tragedy that occurred in Aurora, CO early Friday morning. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see and read everywhere. I cannot fathom what it must have been like to have sat down to see a movie, and then all of a sudden you are fearing for your life. And I cannot even begin to understand why someone would take it upon themselves to do this, to plan such a heinous act against people he likely never knew. I feel such sorrow for not only the victims and their families, but for his family as well. I hope they are given the same privacy and compassion that the other victims' families deserve. Yup. I was in the presence of a rambunctious puppy (absolutely adorable labrador btw) and I was using my camera. My nice T2i. With my nice 18-135 lens. And a snazzy, cross body strap (BoStrap or BosStrap, whatever it's called). Which I wasn't using. So puppy jumped and I lost control of the camera. Lens first onto concrete. :( First glance, the filter was shattered. fine. That's what it's there for. After starting some shooting later on, noticed the lens was pushed in on the end a bit in the corner. :( So now I'm down a lens. I will send it to get fixed, just not right now. I have a used 18-55 on its way (thought it would be here sooner but i
